About the Role
Join Crawford & Company and play a crucial part in helping individuals recover after unexpected events. As an External Claims Adjuster, you will oversee claims from initial site inspections to final resolution. This involves evaluating damages, identifying their causes, coordinating with experts, and providing clear, compassionate guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
This position offers autonomy to manage your own portfolio within a supportive, collaborative team environment. Candidates from diverse backgrounds such as loss adjusting, claims management, trades, or property evaluation are encouraged to apply if they possess the right attitude and transferable skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform both onsite and desktop evaluations of claims.
- Handle all aspects of claims processing from start to completion.
- Communicate effectively with customers, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate clarity and understanding.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records while making informed, well-documented decisions.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Relevant qualifications or prior experience in loss adjusting, trades, or related fields are preferred.
- Hold legal working rights in Australia or New Zealand and be willing to undergo a police background check.
