About The Role
Join the launch of our largest Supply Chain site at Redbank, Queensland—a cutting-edge distribution center aimed at shaping the future of our retail operations. In this critical role, the DC Planning Manager will be responsible for operational planning, driving productivity, and upholding service standards to achieve consistent operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive workflow management including daily labor planning, anticipating seasonal demand spikes, managing intra-day workload, and overseeing wave planning and slotting methods to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as the analytics expert by utilizing tools such as SQL, Korber WMS, SAP ERP, Power BI, and Excel to analyze data, monitor order flows, maintain accurate master data, and develop dashboards for real-time operational insights.
- Champion continuous improvement projects by implementing frameworks like Day in the Life Of (DILO) and optimizing slotting and labor models to boost performance.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a focused team of 1 to 5 direct reports, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Possess over 5 years of leadership experience in fast-moving Warehouse, Logistics, or Supply Chain roles with specific expertise in distribution centre planning.
- Highly skilled in data and system tools, particularly SAP ERP, Korber WMS, Power BI, Kronos, AI applications, and SQL query writing.
- Exhibit strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with resilience to manage shifting priorities and a commitment to safety.
- Preferred qualifications include tertiary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business and certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or Project Management.
