Roles and Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data science models. This involves utilizing Python, SQL, and machine learning algorithms to generate actionable business insights and support strategic decision-making. The role requires collaboration with various teams to understand business challenges and implement solutions using artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning (DL) methodologies. A key aspect of the role includes developing predictive maintenance models aimed at optimizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and enhancing overall operational efficiency, particularly within the oil and gas sector. Furthermore, the position entails analyzing extensive datasets to uncover significant trends, patterns, and correlations that will guide future business strategies.

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess 2 to 7 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist role or a similar capacity, with a demonstrated expertise in AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). A strong command of programming languages, specifically Python, is essential, alongside practical experience with SQL for database management. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig for data processing and analysis is also required.
