Role Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, managing scope, schedule, budgets, quality, and risk factors.
• Conduct site inspections, field investigations, feasibility studies, and constructability reviews to support project execution.
• Prepare and review key project documentation including cost estimates, tender documents, contract administration records, and project status reports.
• Assist with tender evaluations and provide ongoing support during procurement and construction phases.
• Track and monitor financial performance of projects, including forecasting and reporting on construction activities.
• Foster effective communication and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Identify and collaboratively resolve project delivery and technical challenges.
• Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with project and client documentation, including meetings, action items, and records.
• Adhere to company health, safety, quality, and environmental standards while proactively managing project risks.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably required.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a relevant technical tertiary qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ pertinent professional experience, including familiarity with NZS39XX contract frameworks.
• Strong skills in cost estimating, tender preparation, and report writing.
• Effective communication abilities to build trust and support among clients and peers.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site supervisors, and suppliers.
