Role overview
This position supports the end-to-end trade lifecycle by coordinating deal creation, execution, and post-trade follow-up with Trading and Origination teams. The coordinator helps ensure readiness for new commercial opportunities, works with Market Risk on position management, and keeps commercial and support teams aligned. The role also provides analytical support on trading performance, market movement, and risk exposure to improve trade money management decisions.
What you will do
- Organize advance work for new commercial cases, including toolkits, analysis, and presentation materials such as pitch books to support planning.
- Assist traders and originators in structuring, negotiating, and executing agreements for new opportunities as well as managing active contracts.
- Support deal implementation, including ETRM setup and coordination with Risk Management and other enabling teams.
- Help roll out new activities such as market entry, logistics planning, enabling agreements, IT setup, and management of change processes.
- Prepare mid-office and back-office teams so they are ready to handle new transactions operationally.
- Assist in managing the trading position and suggest actions that help keep positions balanced.
- Track commercial and market-related risks tied to trades, including operational consequences.
- Review trade risk reports and take or recommend action when authorized.
- Keep the opportunity pipeline current, including counterparty interactions and milestone tracking.
- Run or support prioritization and alignment meetings with Trading, Origination, and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with support functions for deal reviews, due diligence, and approval workflows.
- Work with Analytics teams to collect competitor and industry research for opportunity assessment.
- Serve as the commercial point of contact for forward price curve management.
- Assist with regulatory and compliance matters on behalf of Trading and Origination.
