Cloud Engineer

Job Overview and Requirements

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with a strong educational background, ideally holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Candidates should bring 5 to 8 years of practical experience managing cloud and container platforms along with relevant middleware technologies.

Technical Responsibilities and Skills

• Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Terraform.
• Work extensively with container orchestration and management platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Handle middleware components including Websphere, JBoss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, and Kafka.
• Operate within ITIL Service Management frameworks, effectively managing incidents, problems, and change processes.
• Understand and implement large language models (LLMs) and AI architectural patterns like Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic, and Multi-Context Processing (MCP).
• Employ tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Rundeck, and Git for continuous integration and configuration management.
• Utilize monitoring and data analytics solutions including Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, and Geneos to ensure system stability and performance.
• Provide on-call support in rotational shifts, ensuring system reliability and prompt issue resolution.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking capabilities to collaborate effectively and solve challenges.

Work Conditions and Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role located in Singapore. Candidates must be prepared to work in shifts and participate in on-call support rotations.
