Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Client Relationship Officer (CRO) based in Gambella will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. This role includes regular client engagement through interviews, responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, escalation handling, and delivering follow-ups to maintain strong client relations.
- Manage client portfolios ensuring timely support and satisfaction.
- Conduct client interviews to identify concerns and guarantee excellent service.
- Create presentations for potential clients to demonstrate Inkomoko’s support offerings.
- Keep clients informed about portfolio activities and achievements.
- Implement marketing strategies to expand the client base.
- Build and maintain customer relationship management practices.
- Handle customer support incidents and escalations effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Inkomoko's services for accurate communication.
- Analyze results to guide strategic adjustments.
- Lead client meetings and facilitate training sessions onsite.
- Utilize customer service tools and metrics to optimize support.
- Represent Inkomoko at community business forums and industry events.
- Collaborate with the investment team to deliver superior investment advice and services.
- Maintain organized client investment documentation.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required.
- At least four years of client-facing experience within Ethiopian financial institutions.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
- Knowledge of micro-businesses and loan/savings products is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service capabilities.
- Proficient with MS Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in team-oriented and dynamic work environments.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Possess perseverance, integrity, and sound judgment.
