Job description
Position Overview
The role involves loading and unloading freight, scanning, and sorting packages within the facility, as well as transporting freight internally and between locations.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to successfully complete all required initial and recurring training
- Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Possession of a valid full driving license with a good driving record
Work Schedule
Hiring primarily for part-time package handlers working 5 days a week with morning shifts as follows: Monday to Friday from 4:05 AM to 8:05 AM; Saturdays from 6:40 AM to 10:10 AM; and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

This job description is general and not exhaustive. Employees are expected to perform all tasks assigned and be capable of functioning in a PC/Windows environment. All mandatory testing and training must be passed and accreditations maintained annually when applicable. Schedules may vary according to business needs.
Applicants residing in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English. Candidates required to drive as part of their duties must hold a valid driver's license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1 AZ) with no more than two violations or accidents in the preceding 24 months. Applicant evaluations will include review of driving records, interview outcomes, and driving skills assessments.
