Role Overview
The Assistant Store Manager position presents a leadership role ideal for individuals keen to advance or begin their careers in the automotive retail sector. Collaborating directly with the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in daily store operations, spearheading sales efforts, and cultivating a customer-centric team that emphasizes quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, positive, and efficient store environment.
- Boost sales through product promotion, upselling techniques, and achieving sales targets.
- Offer knowledgeable assistance on automotive parts and accessories.
- Coach, inspire, and develop team members working on the sales floor.
- Manage inventory oversight including stock control and delivery coordination.
- Support the Store Manager with daily operational leadership duties.
- Assume full responsibility for the store during the Store Manager's absence.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in retail leadership or assistant management roles.
- Strong customer service aptitude with a track record of meeting sales KPIs.
- Capability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Familiarity with inventory management and store operations.
- Experience in retail is essential; automotive industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
