Job description
Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time Senior LLM Engineer with expertise in generative AI and large language model (LLM) solutions. This remote position involves hands-on engineering tasks such as designing, constructing, and deploying intelligent AI systems with a focus on Python programming and state-of-the-art LLM frameworks. The engineer will also play a key role in developing the technical roadmap and working collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create generative AI and LLM-based platforms utilizing technologies like LangChain and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
- Apply prompt engineering strategies and utilize agent-based frameworks to build context-sensitive AI applications.
- Partner with engineering teams to define and execute the strategic technical plan for LLM projects.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable AI implementations ready for production environments.
- Participate in architectural discussions, code evaluations, and optimize system performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for developing AI systems.
- Experience working with LangChain and current LLM technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of LLM mechanisms including prompt tuning, embeddings, vector database utilization, and agent workflow design.
- Background in machine learning or software engineering with capability for system-wide design thinking.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Independent work capability paired with strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
