About the Internship
This internship offers a hands-on experience in building and editing WordPress websites, primarily utilizing the Divi Theme and Divi Builder. Interns will convert approved designs and mockups into fully functional web pages including landing pages, home pages, service pages, and more. The role emphasizes optimization across devices, maintaining consistent design elements, and ensuring good site performance through basic SEO and technical improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and customize WordPress websites using Divi Builder modules, sections, and templates.
- Translate design assets into responsive web pages optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Create various marketing pages while adhering to brand guidelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Perform routine website maintenance, including backups, troubleshooting, updating plugins, and fixing layout or formatting issues.
- Create forms with WPForms and integrate marketing and CRM workflows.
- Assist with on-page SEO implementation like page titles, headings, alt texts, and internal linking following SEO team instructions.
- Test websites across multiple browsers and screen sizes to ensure compatibility before launch.
- Manage staging environments and safely deploy approved changes to production.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship in Mumbai lasting 3 months, starting between October 7, 2026 and November 11, 2026.
- Must possess prior experience building at least 1-2 WordPress websites or landing pages (can include college or personal projects).
- Experience with Divi Builder is highly preferred; Elementor experience acceptable if willing to quickly learn Divi.
- Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS is required; basic JavaScript is a plus but not mandatory.
- Understanding of responsive/mobile-first design principles and a strong visual sense regarding typography, spacing, and alignment are important.
- Familiarity with WordPress plugins, domains, hosting, staging environments, SEO principles, and website performance optimization is beneficial.
- Candidates must be comfortable working physically from the Mumbai office.
Stipend and Perks
- Monthly stipend ranges from ₹9,000 to ₹16,000, including fixed pay of ₹8,000 to ₹12,000 and incentives of ₹1,000 to ₹4,000.
- Letter of recommendation will be provided upon successful completion.
