Internship Overview
We are seeking motivated and imaginative interns skilled in video editing and motion graphics to join our remote team. This role involves creating compelling short-form and long-form video content that resonates with our audience. Candidates should have practical experience with desktop video editing software and a foundation in motion graphics, combined with a keen enthusiasm to expand their expertise and innovate visually.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit captivating short videos suitable for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop long-form video content for YouTube and other digital channels.
- Transform raw video footage, scripts, and concepts into polished, engaging visual stories.
- Incorporate captions, transitions, sound effects, music, and diverse visual components to enhance video quality.
- Create basic motion graphic elements, animated text, and visual effects to enrich content.
- Design compelling intros, outros, and hooks that capture viewer attention.
- Adapt long-form content into shorter formats strategically.
- Ensure all video assets align with Optima Learn's brand visual standards.
- Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to develop video ideas and executions.
- Stay current with evolving video editing techniques and social media trends.
- Respond constructively to feedback and efficiently implement revisions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for remote work and able to commence between August 13, 2026, and September 17, 2026.
- Availability for a minimum duration of three months is required.
- Relevant skills in video editing and motion graphics are essential.

Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient use of professional desktop editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro; mobile-only apps are not accepted.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects with a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
- Understanding of core editing principles including pacing, storytelling, audio mixing, visual hierarchy, and sound design.
