Overview
Join STEMpedia as a UI/UX Design Intern and contribute to pioneering AI and robotics education tools. You will engage in conceptualizing and designing interfaces for PictoBlox, a cutting-edge platform used globally in educational settings, while gaining hands-on experience in digital product design and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user personas and map user journeys to enhance product usability and experience.
- Innovate and prototype new features, contributing to the productization of PictoBlox's latest functionalities.
- Create visual and written content for mobile apps, software interfaces, and promotional digital channels.
- Perform additional relevant tasks as needed to meet project and organizational goals.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Applicants must be ready for a full-time, on-site internship starting between September 30, 2026, and November 4, 2026, for a 6-month period.
- Possess a bachelor's degree or be currently pursuing one in a related discipline.
- Prior internship experience in UI/UX design for digital products is preferred.
- Have a professional portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects for both web and mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with various design and development tools and technologies listed below.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiasm for STEM education, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and augmented/virtual reality applications.
- A proactive and eager learner mindset to adapt and grow with emerging technologies.
Technical and Software Knowledge
- Proficiency with Sketch, InVision, Figma, Visio, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS (including SCSS).
- Experience or academic exposure to XR technologies using Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to 15,000.
- Certificate awarded upon successful completion of the internship.
