About the Internship
This position involves a six-month remote internship focused on enhancing technical SEO and web development efforts for the company's websites. The role centers on optimizing website crawlability, indexing, structural elements, and page performance to increase organic traffic and search rankings.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize technical SEO factors including site structure, internal linking, sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, and indexing processes.
- Monitor and enhance website performance metrics such as Core Web Vitals, page speed, loading time, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Identify and resolve SEO issues by utilizing tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and Screaming Frog.
- Support the development, upkeep, and improvement of websites and landing pages leveraging technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and WordPress.
- Implement on-page SEO elements including meta tags, heading hierarchy, structured data/schema markup, image optimization, URL structuring, and SEO-friendly page architecture.
- Perform frequent website audits to detect broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content, indexing problems, and performance impediments.
- Track and report on SEO metrics such as rankings, traffic, impressions, clicks, and indexing status to evaluate progress.
- Collaborate across development, content, design, and marketing teams to ensure new and updated pages uphold SEO and performance standards.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and monitor search trends to identify SEO opportunities for improving organic visibility.
- Stay informed on Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, web development trends, and emerging technologies to recommend continuous improvements.

Additional Information
- Upon successful conversion to a permanent role, the expected annual salary ranges between INR 200,000 and 400,000.
