About the Internship

Astrorize invites technically skilled fresh graduates and early career developers to join as software development interns. This opportunity involves hands-on work across mobile and web applications, backend services, administrative systems, payments, notifications, real-time communication, and cloud infrastructure. Candidates must have practical experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

Technology Stack

• Mobile development using React Native and TypeScript for Android and iOS, with REST API integration, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and real-time communication.
• Web development on React.js and Next.js with responsive design and API integration.
• Administrative dashboards utilizing React.js, TypeScript, RBAC, and API-driven interfaces.
• Backend engineering with Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, Webhooks, event workflows, authentication, and API validation.
• Database and caching technologies including PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, SQL, and Redis for real-time data handling.
• Cloud infrastructure and services, including AWS (Amazon S3, RDS), Firebase Cloud Messaging, and SMTP/transactional emails.
• Product integration with payment gateways such as Razorpay, payout APIs, LiveKit Cloud for real-time chat, voice/video communication, and live streaming.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement features across mobile, web, and backend systems.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Develop React Native applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Create web applications using React and Next.js frameworks.
• Develop backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases and Redis caching layers.
• Integrate external third-party APIs and develop webhook-based workflows.
• Manage payment, notification, and communication system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues on frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Produce clean, reusable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Write automated tests and conduct API testing.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control.
• Analyze bugs and identify root causes.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Practical experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Fundamental understanding or project experience in React, React Native, and Node.js.
• Knowledge of REST API concepts, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and JSON.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/SQL basics.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and Promises.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strongly Preferred: Next.js, NestJS or Express frameworks, React Native app development, PostgreSQL database design, Redis, WebSockets/real-time communication, webhooks, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AWS S3 / Amazon RDS, Docker, Jest (or similar), and API testing tools like Postman.
• Desirable Skills: Razorpay/payment integrations, LiveKit or similar AV platforms, voice/video integration, live streaming, transactional email systems, CI/CD, AWS deployments, JWT/OTP authentication, RBAC, and fundamental application security/OWASP principles.
• Completed relevant technical training, coursework, certifications, or bootcamps in JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.

Benefits of the Internship

• Monthly stipend of INR 18,000 to 20,000.
