Internship Overview

This internship offers an opportunity to actively participate in developing advanced AI-driven tools for short-form video content editing and creator-brand matchmaking on platforms like Obula and Zypit, focusing on India's multilingual social media landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain AI pipelines for automated editing of short videos, including generating captions, placing B-roll footage, and performing trend analyses.
• Integrate Whisper-based multilingual transcription systems supporting Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, and Hinglish, optimizing their performance.
• Implement AI-based algorithms for matching creators with brands using GPT APIs alongside content analytics.
• Conduct prompt engineering experiments, fine-tune AI models, and enhance output quality by analyzing user feedback and data.
• Collaborate with backend developers to deploy models on GPU infrastructure via RunPod Serverless platforms.
• Oversee deployments across backend (Railway), frontend (Vercel), and GPU service providers (RunPod Serverless) for both Obula and Zypit applications.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment processes.
• Optimize Docker container images for machine learning workers and API relay services to decrease startup latency and minimize infrastructure expenses.
• Implement comprehensive logging, error monitoring, and alert systems across deployed services.
• Assist in maintaining security protocols including Row-Level Security (RLS) on Supabase databases, manage environment variables securely, and enforce rate limiting.
• Perform thorough manual testing of Obula’s video editing workflows and Zypit’s creator-brand dashboard, meticulously documenting bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Research ongoing trends in short-form video content across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok to inform feature development related to trend scraping and market niche targeting.
• Analyze competitor editing tools and influencer platforms, compiling structured competitive intelligence and reports.
• Collect and synthesize user feedback through interviews and surveys to derive actionable insights for product enhancement.
• Define and monitor product key performance indicators including engagement rates, edit completion rates, and creator-brand match acceptance metrics.

Candidate Eligibility

• Applicants must be available for a part-time internship starting between September 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026, with a commitment duration of 3 months.
• Applicants must reside in Bangalore and possess relevant skills and interests aligning with the internship responsibilities.
• The opportunity is open especially to women seeking to initiate or reboot their careers.
• Preferred candidates are B.Tech or M.Tech students in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.

Additional Requirements

• Prior exposure to large language model APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, or experience with video/audio processing is highly advantageous.
• Adaptability to a dynamic startup environment with a sense of ownership for developed features is essential.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Railway, or Render, and expertise in GitHub Actions benefits the role.
• Ability to troubleshoot deployment-related challenges independently is necessary.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the creator economy, short-form video content, and the Indian social media ecosystem is preferred.
• Experience with QA tools like Postman, BrowserStack, or proficiency in product research adds value.
• Strong focus on detail and capability to prepare clear, organized analytical reports.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranges from ₹8,000 to ₹12,000, combining fixed and incentive-based components (fixed ₹3,000-5,000 plus incentives ₹5,000-7,000 per month).
• Certificate of internship completion and letter of recommendation upon successful conclusion.
• Flexible working hours with a five-day workweek and an informal dress code.
