About the Internship
This internship involves actively engaging in various social work activities under the guidance of Milestone, a reputable NGO. The selected intern will participate in teaching children, preparing detailed reports, attending team meetings and training sessions to build expertise in social work, conducting field visits, and maintaining coordination with different stakeholders including school principals and teachers. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements and Eligibility
- Commitment to a full-time onsite internship in Delhi.
- Availability to start the internship between August 13, 2026, and September 17, 2026.
- Willingness to work the full two-month duration.
- Residing in Delhi to facilitate field visits and community interaction.
- Interest and relevant abilities in social work and community development.
- Preference will be given to female applicants, especially those looking to begin or resume their careers.
- Must be ready to travel to schools and community locations for fieldwork.
- Educational background should include graduation or postgraduate degrees such as BSW, MSW, MBA, or equivalent.
Stipend and Benefits
The internship offers a monthly stipend ranging between 10000 and 15000 INR. Additional benefits include a certificate of internship completion, a letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and a relaxed dress code.
