The Social Media Marketing internship at Osumare involves handling various key responsibilities including strategizing and executing tailored social media approaches for different platforms. The intern will plan monthly content schedules, ensure timely postings with proper optimization, and collaborate with creatives such as designers, copywriters, and video editors to produce engaging content like posts, reels, videos, and stories.
Community engagement plays a vital role, requiring the intern to interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online presence. Monitoring emerging trends, staying abreast of platform updates, and experimenting with fresh formats like reels, stories, live sessions, and polls to enhance reach and user engagement are integral parts of the position.
Eligibility and Other Requirements
- Applicants must be available full-time on-site for 6 months starting between August 31 and October 5, 2026.
- Candidates should possess relevant skills and interests in social media marketing and content creation.
- Preference will be given to candidates from journalism, mass media, and communication backgrounds.
- Women re-entering or beginning their careers are also encouraged to apply.
