About the internship
About the Internship
This internship offers a part-time opportunity based in Andheri West, Mumbai, requiring a commitment from Monday to Saturday, with working hours from 10:15 AM to 7:15 PM. Interns will work onsite at the IIDE campus and will observe off days on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays of each month, working only the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.

Role Overview
The Social Media Marketing Intern will contribute to devising, producing, and implementing engaging social media content, thereby enhancing IIDE's digital brand visibility and audience interaction on multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute social media marketing initiatives across suitable social channels.
- Produce captivating content such as Stories, posts, Reels, and other short-form media formats.
- Work jointly with teams from other functions to maintain content consistency and strategy alignment.
- Infuse inventive ideas to bolster IIDE’s overarching digital marketing efforts.
- Keep informed about the latest social media trends, content styles, and practices to integrate relevant innovations into posting.
- Exhibit adaptability, self-motivation, and a proactive approach by taking responsibility beyond usual duties.
- Undertake additional tasks delegated by management within the scope of the internship.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for the part-time internship with a start date between 3rd September 2026 and 8th October 2026.
- Residency in Mumbai is required.
- Commitment to the full six-month internship duration is essential.
- Relevant skills and a passionate interest in social media marketing.
- Ability to work 6 hours daily on-site and to work on specified Saturdays (1st and 3rd).
- Must possess a personal laptop capable of running video editing software.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fundamental graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic video shooting and editing abilities.
- Experience or familiarity with video editing tools such as VN Editor, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong passion for social media along with a sound understanding of current trends and best practices.
- Creativity to innovate and think beyond conventional approaches.
- A proactive and eager mindset towards continuous learning and initiative-taking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any prior experience managing social media accounts through academic projects, personal endeavors, or professional roles.
- Additional certifications, skills, or relevant experience in social media marketing, content production, or design will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The internship provides a monthly stipend ranging between INR 4000 and INR 6000. Successful interns will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation at the end of the program.
