Internship Overview & Responsibilities
This role involves creating engaging social media content for BoiPoka's presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. Interns will craft original designs such as carousels, story templates, quotes, event posters, and campaign visuals. You will coordinate and conduct photo and video shoots at bookstores, events, and locations throughout Bangalore.
The internship requires shooting, editing, and producing short videos including Instagram Reels, behind-the-scenes footage, event highlights, and author interviews. Incorporating audio elements like voice-overs, ambient sounds, and short podcast segments is also part of the job. Maintaining a consistent visual brand identity aligned with BoiPoka's guidelines and managing timely posting schedules, community interaction including comment and direct message responses are essential duties.
Collaborating closely with the team on various campaigns, product launches, partner bookstore activations, and community-focused events will be expected. Additionally, interns will analyze content performance metrics such as reach, engagement, saves, and follower growth, using these insights to refine future strategies.

Application Requirements
- Applicants must provide a portfolio link, such as Instagram, Behance, or other creative showcases.
- Comfort operating phone or DSLR cameras with foundational knowledge of lighting and framing is necessary.
- Proficiency in at least one graphic design platform, e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma.
- Experience with at least one video editing software, such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Strong familiarity with the book community on social media, including Bookstagram and current content trends.
- Ability to compose engaging captions that drive interaction and saves.
- Previous internships or freelance experience in relevant domains are advantageous but not mandatory with a compelling portfolio.
- Exceptional interns may have opportunities for future full-time employment at BoiPoka.
Stipend and Additional Perks
The internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹10,000. Benefits include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and a casual dress code.
