Join Search Digitally as an SEO Intern and immerse yourself in the fast-evolving field of digital marketing. This position involves enhancing website search rankings, analyzing site metrics with Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and deploying SEO strategies grounded in data to boost online presence. The role also includes contributing to search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns and supporting social media marketing efforts. Proficiency in written English is crucial for crafting compelling, SEO-optimized content across digital platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Refine on-page SEO components, including meta descriptions, title tags, heading tags (H1, H2), image alt text, and structured data markup.
- Track and enhance site performance via Google Search Console and Google Analytics, addressing indexing, crawl issues, and analyzing traffic patterns.
- Perform thorough keyword research focusing on high-volume, low-competition, and niche long-tail keywords to improve content relevance.
- Support backlink development through methods like guest blogging, directory listings, and citation building using ethical SEO practices.
- Compile and interpret SEO performance data using spreadsheet tools and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to apply successful SEO tactics.
- Promote content optimization by judicious keyword placement and maintaining readability standards aligned with SEO guidelines.
- Keep abreast of emerging SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and new digital marketing technologies.
- Provide assistance with foundational SEM and social media initiatives to reinforce digital marketing presence.
