Internship Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to engage with parents interested in enrolling their children at Vikalp Online School, a leading EdTech institution specializing in experiential learning both online and offline. Interns will act as the primary point of contact, communicating through calls, WhatsApp, and other means to understand each child's educational background and parental expectations. They will thoroughly explain the school's curriculum, unique methodologies, class formats, fee structures, and admission procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact effectively with parents to gather detailed information about their child's age, schooling status, and learning requirements.
- Articulate the benefits of Vikalp's Learning by Doing approach, various curriculum options (including CBSE and NIOS), and other academic offerings.
- Address inquiries and resolve doubts in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Track leads diligently, categorize them according to the admission stage within CRM or LMS systems, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Guide prospective parents smoothly through the admission process and convert qualified inquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Collaborate with academic and operations teams to deliver accurate information and answer complex questions.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge about the school’s academic calendar, assessments, electives, and fee plans to confidently counsel parents beyond scripted sales pitches.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Comfort and proficiency in conducting phone conversations with parents.
- Strong listening and counseling aptitude with the ability to simplify educational concepts.
- Organized, disciplined with diligent follow-up capabilities.
- Ownership-driven mindset focused on lead conversion and meeting set targets.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools such as WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and CRM/LMS platforms.
- Patience and composure when addressing repeated questions and objections.
- Professional, courteous, and positive interaction style at all times.

Compensation and Benefits
- The monthly stipend ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000, comprising a fixed component of ₹6,000 to ₹9,000 along with an incentive pay between ₹4,000 and ₹6,000.
- Interns will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
