Join Clappia as a QA Automation intern, contributing to the testing and quality assurance of APIs, web, and mobile platforms within a no-code business process automation environment. Founded by IIT Kharagpur graduates, Clappia is a profitable Bangalore-based venture serving diverse global clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing test cases for APIs, web user interfaces, and mobile applications.
- Carry out fundamental manual testing to decode product functionalities and aid automation endeavors.
- Support the evaluation of AI-enhanced functionalities, automated workflows, and intelligent agents.
- Create, run, and update automation scripts under experienced supervision.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude to boost testing efficiency.
- Experiment with various automation frameworks including Playwright, Appium, and API testing suites for skill development.
- Detect, document clearly, and track issues and defects comprehensively.
Candidate Requirements
- Available for full-time, in-office internship starting between October 5 and November 9, 2026, lasting for six months.
- Possess relevant programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Have basic experience or understanding of API testing tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with web or mobile automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals and concepts.
- Any academic or personal project involvement in testing or automation.
- Awareness and willingness to engage with AI-based tools for testing enhancement.

Additional Information
The internship is conducted onsite in Bangalore with flexible working hours, a five-day work week, and a casual dress code. Successful interns will earn a monthly stipend of INR 25,000 along with a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation at the end of the tenure.
