Python & Automation Engineering Internship - Remote Part-Time

About the Internship

Jarurat Care Foundation aims to leverage technology to streamline its operations and broaden the impact of its mission supporting cancer care communities across India. We are looking for a driven Python & Automation Engineering Intern with a system-oriented mindset to help develop automated workflows, optimize business processes, and build scalable data systems. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to create production-ready code that directly supports our key organizational functions while gaining substantial hands-on engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and manage Python scripts that automate complex operational and HR workflows as well as repetitive business tasks.
• Create and sustain specialized web scraping bots for data gathering, email scraping, and lead generation.
• Integrate various third-party services and tools using REST APIs to enable seamless data exchange across platforms.
• Design automated tracking and reporting solutions utilizing Google Sheets and Excel APIs.
• Process raw data by extracting, cleaning, and structuring it into precise, reliable formats for organizational use.
• Continuously test, debug, and enhance existing scripts for improved speed, dependability, error handling, and overall efficiency.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks accompanied by clear technical documentation for all deployed workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to pinpoint bottlenecks and develop custom automated solutions.
• Maintain and monitor automation processes ensuring consistent performance and timely resolution of issues.

• Applicants must be available to work remotely and able to start between August 3, 2026, and September 7, 2026.
• Applicants should commit to the full 4-month internship duration.
• Ideal candidates have relevant skills and interests in Python, automation, and data processing.

• Preference given to Computer Science Engineering students.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience or familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Beautiful Soup is desirable.
• Understanding of API usage, JSON data format, and CSV/Excel data handling.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to independently debug code and quickly learn new technologies.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in technical documentation.
• Capability to work independently while managing deadlines.
• Prior involvement in automation projects, web scraping, or using version control with Git/GitHub is advantageous, though not required.
