Internship Overview
This internship role focuses on developing skills in algorithmic trading and equity research using Python. Participants will gain hands-on experience with key Python libraries and learn to analyze the Indian stock market.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply Python programming fundamentals to algorithmic trading tasks.
- Utilize libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data analysis and visualization.
- Develop a foundational understanding of algorithmic trading strategies and their implementation.
- Analyze major Indian stock indices such as Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, and Fin Nifty.
- Interpret technical analysis concepts including candlestick charts, various indicators, and price action.
- Acquire knowledge about options trading, open interest metrics, and derivatives.
- Perform backtesting of trading strategies using historical financial data.
- Learn basic principles of risk management, including stop-loss techniques and risk-reward assessments.
- Enhance analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and logical reasoning abilities.
- Gain exposure to Excel operations, APIs, and quantitative methods as additional assets.
