About the internship
About the Internship
We are seeking native Punjabi speakers for a brief Conversational Speech Transcription initiative lasting around 1 to 1.5 months. This opportunity allows participants to contribute to Punjabi language projects by transcribing and proofreading audio content, as well as ensuring linguistic quality.
Responsibilities
- Convert spoken Punjabi audio clips into clear, fluent, and grammatically accurate text formats following specific project standards.
- Proofread transcripts to find and correct spelling mistakes, omitted words, misinterpretations, and phrasing errors.
- Maintain consistency, readability, and high-quality standards across all assigned transcripts.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily work targets and finish tasks on schedule.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants are native Punjabi speakers possessing strong comprehension and writing abilities, a meticulous eye for detail, and a keen interest in language technologies including AI and speech data projects.
