About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement and sourcing with a focus on semiconductor components and DIY electronics. The intern will support the procurement of ICs, sensors, modules, and kits such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The intern will also help evaluate PCB vendors and conduct price and quality comparisons across major electronic sourcing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source suppliers for semiconductor parts including integrated circuits, sensors, and related modules.
- Research and purchase Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other DIY electronics kits.
- Assess and shortlist vendors for PCB manufacturing and assembly services.
- Compare price, minimum order quantity (MOQ), lead times, and quality on platforms like IndiaMART, Alibaba, AliExpress, LCSC, Mouser, and DigiKey.
- Engage with suppliers via WhatsApp, email, and platform chats to facilitate procurement discussions.
- Create detailed comparison spreadsheets documenting costs, delivery schedules, and reliability metrics.
- Negotiate preliminary pricing and delivery terms with vendors.
- Monitor order progress and ensure timely follow-ups with suppliers.
- Maintain procurement databases and generate regular tracking and analysis reports.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship in Hyderabad.
- Availability to start between August 23 and September 27, 2026, for a duration of 3 months.
- Relevant skills and interest in procurement, electronics, and supply chain operations.
- Educational background in Electronics, ECE, or Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience or familiarity with Arduino, IoT systems, or DIY electronics kits;
- Knowledge of sourcing platforms such as Alibaba or LCSC is advantageous.
- Ability to join immediately.
Additional Information
- Stipend: ₹6,000 to ₹10,000 per month, including a fixed component of ₹5,000 and an incentive ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹5,000 monthly.
