This internship offers the opportunity to explore and develop expertise in power electronics through hands-on work with circuit simulations, component analysis, and technical documentation, focusing on DC-DC converters among other core areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of essential electronic components such as capacitors, inductors, diodes, and MOSFETs.
- Examine the operating principles and structures of buck and boost DC-DC converter circuits.
- Conduct simulations of electronic circuits and study voltage and current waveform behaviors.
- Support in selecting suitable components, performing design calculations, and carrying out practical lab testing.
- Create detailed technical reports documenting design assumptions, simulation results, and test data.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be able to commit to a full-time, on-site internship spanning 4 months.
- Availability to start between October 13, 2026, and November 17, 2026.
- Current engagement in Electronics or Electrical Engineering studies, or in a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates seeking job opportunities are also welcome.
- Possess relevant skills and a genuine interest in power electronics technology.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Basic and advanced understanding of electronic circuit fundamentals and related first principles.
- Familiarity with DC-DC converter topologies, including the concepts of duty cycle and voltage/current ripple.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation software such as LTspice, PSIM, or MATLAB/Simulink platforms.
- Competence in interpreting electronic components datasheets and circuit behaviors.
- Curiosity and analytical mindset geared towards learning via hands-on experimentation.
