About the Internship

This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing and customer acquisition within the sports technology sector. The intern will focus on identifying and cultivating leads from various sports-related organizations such as event and tournament organizers, sports academies, clubs, and venues. Daily tasks involve reaching out to potential clients through multiple communication channels, promoting Pllayer's sports auction software, and managing customer interactions including calls related to venue bookings and product inquiries. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining detailed records of sales activities, and collecting customer feedback to improve services are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate and identify new business leads from sports event and tournament organizers, sports academies, clubs, and venues.
• Communicate with potential clients via phone, WhatsApp, and other platforms to introduce Pllayer’s offerings.
• Market and sell the sports auction software to event and tournament organizers.
• Understand client needs, explain product capabilities, provide basic demonstrations, and address queries.
• Consistently follow up with promising leads to convert them into paying customers.
• Manage inbound customer inquiries on venue bookings, availability, pricing, and related topics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure excellent customer service.
• Keep accurate documentation of leads, calls, follow-ups, conversions, and client interactions.
• Conduct research to uncover new sports communities, markets, events, and business opportunities.
• Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team for product and service enhancements.
• Assist in onboarding new organizers, venues, and customers to the Pllayer platform.
• Support additional sales, business development, and customer engagement tasks as needed.

Who Can Apply

• Candidates must be able to commit to a full-time, in-office internship.
• Availability to start between October 12, 2026, and November 16, 2026, is required.
• The internship duration is 3 months.
• Applicants should possess relevant skills and interests aligned with the role.

Stipend and Incentives

The internship offers a monthly stipend between ₹6,000 and ₹10,000. This includes a fixed pay segment of ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 and an additional incentive pay ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per month.
