Market Research Internship (Work from Home)

About the Internship

You will engage daily in executing authorized AI scripts and prompts to gather media news related to designated companies and individuals. This involves sourcing relevant news from English and local languages, then systematically saving research outputs in the specified library or database for review by the MRI team.

Tasks further include conducting preliminary verifications for entity matching, source reliability, publication dates, and eliminating duplicates. Ambiguous or noteworthy findings must be flagged for additional assessment. Additionally, gathering publicly accessible business feedback and reviews is a key responsibility, which requires searching through social media, forums, online reviews, and company review platforms. Data must then be organized following BBD protocols with precise documentation of source links, dates, and supplementary details, preparing findings for review and validation.

You will also assist with other research and data collection activities as assigned throughout the internship.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be able to work remotely from home
• Available to work 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Indian Standard Time (IST)
• Start date between September 23, 2026, and October 28, 2026
• Commitment for the full 3-month duration
• Possess relevant skills and interests for the role

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Final-year university student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Finance, Communications, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields
• Proficient internet research and data gathering capabilities
• Comfortable using AI tools by following scripted instructions
• Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in work
• Good proficiency in English reading, with additional language skills as a plus
• Able to manage repetitive, structured research tasks effectively
• Adherence to procedures and ability to meet deadlines
• Eager to learn and collaborate within a team environment
• No prior experience required in media intelligence or risk analysis; full training and guidelines will be provided
