Overview
This internship opportunity involves supporting legal operations within a dynamic SaaS product company specializing in conversational commerce and personal sales via WhatsApp. The intern will focus on technology law, software, SaaS, data protection, and commercial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate legal issues concerning technology, software, SaaS, data protection, and commercial legislation.
- Assist in drafting, preparing, and reviewing contracts, NDAs, and various legal documents.
- Analyze commercial agreements to highlight critical clauses, potential risks, and areas requiring closer attention.
- Manage legal databases, maintain contract documentation, and ensure organized record-keeping.
- Stay abreast of legal changes, regulations, and relevant developments affecting the technology sector.
- Provide routine support to the legal team with documentation and legal processes.
- Compile summaries and notes derived from legal research for internal use.
Candidate Eligibility
- Available for a full-time, in-office internship in Mumbai.
- Internship must commence between October 16, 2026, and November 20, 2026, lasting six months.
- Possess a keen interest and relevant skills in legal research and related domains.
Educational and Skill Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an LLB or a 5-year integrated law degree at a recognized university.
- Proficient in legal research and drafting.
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial agreements.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication capabilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and legal risks.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with the legal team.
- An interest in technology law including SaaS and commercial legal matters is an advantage.
Compensation and Work Schedule
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 7,000 to INR 10,000.
- Five working days per week.
