Lexworth Law, a specialist corporate and commercial law firm, invites motivated and detail-oriented candidates to join as Law/Legal Interns. The firm advises businesses nationwide on legal structuring, transaction management, and regulatory adherence. Key practice areas encompass contract drafting and negotiation, franchising, trademarks and intellectual property, employment law, data privacy, and e-commerce compliance. Operating in major Indian cities including Coimbatore, this internship offers hands-on experience in legal drafting, contract evaluation, and corporate advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on corporate and commercial law matters, including statutes, regulatory rules, and case law analysis.
- Assist with drafting and scrutinizing various commercial agreements such as franchise, distribution, service contracts, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
- Support activities related to intellectual property, including trademark filings, oppositions, and providing basic IP legal advice.
- Prepare legal opinions, client advisories, internal memos, and compliance documentation.
- Draft and review employment-related documents like offer letters, contracts, HR policies, and ensure statutory compliance.
- Engage in data privacy and technology law projects, including policy drafting (privacy policies, terms of use) and compliance research.
- Contribute to e-commerce and consumer law advisory efforts, focusing on marketplace compliance and contract frameworks.
- Manage client records, monitor trackers, maintain legal case files, and assist in drafting client communications and summaries.
