Responsibilities
As a Junior PHP Developer intern, you will be entrusted with multiple tasks including developing and maintaining dynamic PHP and Laravel applications, collaborating closely with the UX team to produce cutting-edge web apps, and ensuring consistency and validity of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript components. You will be responsible for maintaining standardized development tools, enhancing backend data services and APIs, and managing the full web application lifecycle from ideation through deployment and post-release support. Further duties involve improving existing code for scalability, employing test-driven development to guarantee quality, addressing customer and internal team requirements, communicating clear updates and technical insights, documenting software processes and architecture, and liaising between co-developers and project management. Staying updated on industry advancements and best practices will be key to success in this role.
Requirements
Ideal candidates must possess relevant skills in PHP, Laravel, and associated technologies and demonstrate a keen interest in software development. Commitment to a full-time in-office internship is mandatory, with availability to start anytime between September 15 and October 20, 2026, for a period of six months.
