Role Overview
As a Java Full Stack intern at Gateway Software Solutions, you will engage in the software development lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in backend services, database management, and web interfaces. Under the guidance of seasoned developers, you will learn to interpret project requirements, implement modifications, and enhance your Java development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enhance application features using Java, applying object-oriented programming concepts to write well-structured, sustainable code.
- Support backend application development utilizing Spring Boot and the Spring Framework, focusing on controllers, services, and data handling modules.
- Participate in constructing and integrating microservices, understanding data communication and operational flows among services.
- Create and optimize MySQL queries to facilitate database connectivity for application functionalities.
- Collaborate on full-stack tasks by linking front-end components to backend APIs, ensuring accurate data transmission.
- Conduct testing of code updates, diagnose bugs, and work with teammates to resolve issues prior to deployment.
- Engage in peer code reviews and technical discussions, incorporating feedback and maintaining clear documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time onsite internship.
- Internship commencement should occur between November 6, 2026, and December 11, 2026.
- Applicants should commit to a 6-month internship duration.
- Only candidates residing in Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Madurai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Tiruppur, Avadi, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Aruppukkottai, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore South, or Tirchy are eligible.
