About the Internship
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to building and maintaining backend applications primarily using Java technologies like Spring Boot and Spring MVC. The intern will support the creation and enhancement of REST APIs related to Onelap's GPS tracking, alerting, trip, geofencing, reporting, subscription, and device management functions. Responsibilities include writing maintainable Java code under supervision, integrating backend services with mobile apps, web dashboards, and third-party platforms such as SMS, WhatsApp, email, Firebase, and payment systems.
The intern will also assist in crafting and optimizing database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL and MySQL, troubleshoot API-related bugs and data inconsistencies, and perform unit, API, and integration testing for assigned modules. Participation in code reviews, agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint planning, and following company development standards including Git workflows and documentation is expected. Ownership of small tasks will grow to handling more complex backend components over the internship duration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates who can commit to a full-time, onsite internship in Noida are eligible.
- Applicants must be able to start between 17th September 2026 and 22nd October 2026.
- The internship tenure is 6 months, and availability for this entire period is required.
- Candidates should possess relevant technical skills and interests aligned with the role.
- Preference is given to students pursuing Computer Science Engineering.
