About the Opportunity
Budding Mariners, a pioneering educational platform dedicated to nurturing future mariners and aiding them in their merchant navy careers, is seeking a motivated Instagram Manager Intern. This role is key to our marketing team and offers a chance to develop impactful digital marketing expertise focused on Instagram.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and launch Instagram marketing campaigns aimed at boosting brand visibility and directing website traffic.
- Create and manage content campaigns targeted at lead generation through Instagram.
- Analyze social media insights to evaluate campaign performance, guiding data-driven improvements.
- Monitor and report weekly changes in follower engagement and lead acquisition metrics.
- Interact promptly and professionally with followers by answering comments and messages.
- Research market trends, competitors, and growth possibilities within the maritime sector.
- Work closely with marketing colleagues to build integrated social media strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Keep abreast of Instagram’s algorithm updates and best practices to maximize content reach and engagement.
- Support content development efforts by composing captions, scheduling posts, and designing appealing visuals.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be able to work remotely and commit full-time presence throughout the 6-month internship.
- Available to commence between October 22, 2026, and November 26, 2026.
- Possess relevant skills and interest in digital and Instagram marketing.

Additional Qualifications
- Experience growing an Instagram page from zero to 10,000 followers is essential.
- Preferably owns and uses an iPhone.
- Familiarity with social content by influencers like Tanmay Bhatt, Raj Shamani, and Ankur Warikoo is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹2,000 to ₹3,000.
- Certificate of internship completion and letter of recommendation upon conclusion.
