About the Organization

Basti Ki Pathshala Foundation is a government-registered nonprofit operating under the Indian Societies Act of 1860. It is devoted to improving access to quality education for children residing in slum areas by cultivating supportive learning environments. The foundation employs innovative teaching techniques, community involvement, and partnerships to equip these children with essential knowledge and skills, aiming to foster sustainable educational progress within marginalized communities.

Internship Responsibilities

• Support fundraising campaigns to generate funds for education and community welfare programs.
• Recognize and reach out to potential donors, institutions, and community organizations interested in social causes.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective donors through consistent communication and follow-ups.
• Keep precise documentation of fundraising efforts, donor contacts, and contributions received.
• Engage actively in foundation-led fundraising drives, awareness campaigns, and donor participation events.
• Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to meet campaign targets and enhance organizational support.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be available for this remote internship and able to start between 18th September 2026 and 23rd October 2026.
• Must commit to the full one-month duration of the internship.
• Should possess relevant skills and interests aligned with fundraising and marketing.
• Women looking to begin or restart their careers are especially encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Perks

• Stipend includes a fixed lump sum of ₹1 and an additional performance-based incentive ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹15,000, equating to 20% of the funds personally raised.
• Flexible work hours to accommodate personal schedules.
• Certificate of internship completion and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
