About the Internship
This internship offers a hands-on experience in full stack application development involving backend, frontend, and database functionalities. Interns will engage with key technologies including Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Hotwire, and Tailwind CSS. Responsibilities include building and integrating APIs, implementing real-time features and background processing, and collaborating on code quality enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement new features across backend servers, databases, and frontend user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrate frontend frameworks.
- Utilize Hotwire and Tailwind CSS in system development.
- Implement real-time functionalities and background job processing.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews.
- Collaborate with senior developers to refine application architecture and improve overall code quality.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship.
- Availability to start between October 17 and November 21, 2026.
- Commitment to a 6-month internship period.
- Possess relevant skills and enthusiasm for software development.
- Currently enrolled as Computer Science Engineering students.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of backend development concepts or a strong willingness to learn Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational database management.
- Understanding the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern and RESTful APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Git version control.
- Preferred familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Hotwire (Turbo and Stimulus), Tailwind CSS or Alpine.js, and background job processing with Sidekiq and Redis.
Stipend and Perks
- A monthly stipend ranging from INR 9,000 to 10,000 will be provided.
- Interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the program.
