Internship Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on knowledge of diverse products marketed and serviced within India.
- Understand field service components including radiation safety protocols.
- Analyze system logs and automated reports to diagnose operational status.
- Explore remote connectivity and remote service functionalities.
- Participate actively in routine preventive maintenance tasks on Elekta equipment alongside the service team.
- Comprehend and assess the significance of key service performance indicators (KPIs) for regional operations.
- Monitor field actions related to predictive and proactive cases on designated medical equipment modalities.
- Learn the Field Change Order (FCO) process and assist engineers with its timely monitoring and resolution.
- Develop skills in reading and interpreting signal flows on blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Observe and understand patient treatment procedures at customer sites.
- Understand parts ordering and inventory control processes.
- Execute basic service tasks under supervision and guidance from senior engineering staff.
- Embody and adhere to Elekta’s core values, including compliance and integrity standards.
- Follow all company policies, directives, and procedural guidelines thoroughly.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks to maintain quality and responsibility within the organization.
