ZootechX is a dynamic company excelling in software development and AI solutions, catering to startups, SMEs, and enterprises throughout India and beyond. The company focuses on custom-built software, websites, e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, SaaS offerings, AI-powered chatbots, CRM and ERP systems, business intelligence dashboards, and automation tools.

We are seeking motivated, confident, and resourceful Field Sales and Business Development Interns who thrive on interacting with people, exploring diverse markets, and translating potential leads into clients.

This role primarily involves B2B field sales, where interns will travel to various businesses across Mumbai—including shops, showrooms, offices, and service providers—to connect with owners and decision-makers. Interns will assess business needs and present ZootechX's digital solutions.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy direct client interactions, possess persuasive communication skills, and wish to gain practical exposure in technology sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to designated commercial areas and markets across Mumbai to identify prospective business clients.
• Engage with local shops, retailers, showrooms, restaurants, service providers, offices, and SMEs to introduce ZootechX’s service offerings.
• Deliver face-to-face sales presentations to business owners and key decision-makers, illustrating benefits of websites, software solutions, and AI automation tailored to their business.
• Identify companies needing new digital tools such as websites, e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, WhatsApp automation, and AI chatbots.
• Generate qualified leads by gathering contact information and understanding clients’ requirements and budgets.
• Distribute company portfolios and presentation materials via WhatsApp, email, and personal meetings.
• Arrange meetings and live demonstrations with ZootechX’s technical team or founders for interested prospects.
• Conduct follow-ups with potential clients through calls, messaging, and repeat visits to convert leads.
• Keep detailed daily logs documenting businesses visited, leads created, meetings scheduled, and sales progress maintained in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support proposal creation, quotation preparation, client interactions, and deal finalizations.
• Meet or exceed targets related to field visits, lead generation, meetings, and sales conversions.

Candidate Eligibility

• Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship lasting 6 months.
• Ready to begin between September 24th, 2026 and October 29th, 2026.
• Possess relevant skills and enthusiasm for sales and business development.
• Based in Mumbai and comfortable traveling daily across the city for field activities.
• Confident in engaging unfamiliar business owners and decision-makers.
• Proficient in Hindi and English communication; knowledge of Marathi or Gujarati is a plus.
• Self-driven, disciplined, results-oriented, and persistent with follow-up actions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹17,000, comprising a fixed component of ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 plus incentives between ₹2,000 and ₹10,000 based on performance.

Additional Information

• Fixed monthly stipend: ₹5,000 - ₹7,000.
• Performance-based incentives: ₹2,000 - ₹10,000 per month.
