Internship Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in fashion design and merchandising with a focus on sustainable accessories. You will engage in interpreting technical specifications, fabric selection, pattern making, and production coordination to meet buyer requirements accurately within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret tech packs, measurements, construction details, and buyer specifications.
- Provide assistance in sourcing fabrics, selecting appropriate textiles, and performing quality checks.
- Support pattern making processes, sampling, garment fitting, and implement necessary corrections.
- Collaborate closely with tailors, master manufacturers, artisans, and vendors to ensure production progress.
- Track samples, oversee production activities, manage material supplies, and adhere to timeline commitments.
- Identify and address production challenges by coordinating with the relevant teams and maintaining comprehensive records.
- Assist company directors in daily operations and coordination.
- Help ensure precise communication of buyer instructions within the production team.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants should be fashion design students, graduates, or individuals with practical experience in the field.
- Sound understanding of garment construction, fabric types, sizing, and technical documentation.
- Basic skills in pattern making and sampling techniques.
