About the Internship
As an Event Management Intern at Corporate Thalam 25, you will engage in hosting and organizing virtual round table discussions, managing day-to-day operations via an online platform, venue scouting around Chennai, and supporting content creation for social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate 25-minute online round table calls with five new members as the session host (Chair) after shadowing founder-led sessions; ensure smooth conversation flow, timely closure, and session note documentation.
- Manage daily administrative tasks from the online dashboard including applicant calls using scripts, dispatching payment links, maintaining registers, calendars, and logging venue details.
- Scout, evaluate, and shortlist cafes and meeting spaces in Chennai suitable for weekday-morning gatherings.
- Conduct research on local meetup groups and competitor pages in Chennai, maintaining detailed records in Google Sheets.
- Assist in content preparation such as captions, posters, and Instagram reels, ensuring founder approval prior to posting.
- Perform daily check-in/out via the board and submit concise daily activity reports.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for full-time, onsite internship starting between September 19 and October 24, 2026.
- Required internship duration of 2 months.
- Relevant skills and interests in social media marketing, communication, and event coordination.

Additional Information
- Stipend consists of a fixed amount ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 per month plus incentives between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000 per month, totaling ₹17,000 to ₹28,000 monthly.
- Successful interns may be considered for permanent employment with an annual salary ranging from ₹250,000 to ₹350,000.
- The role includes a two-week observation period before confirmation for the full internship tenure.
- Sit n Talk is a members-only club facilitating structured group discussions in Chennai; this role supports its operation via a private online board connecting founders and on-site operators.
- Working days are typically 5 days a week with flexible hours.
