About the Internship
This internship involves annotating images and videos for advanced object detection, classification, and segmentation tasks focused on AI-powered dashcam technology. The intern will label data reflecting various driving-related scenarios such as driver behaviors (including drowsiness, mobile phone use, and smoking), seatbelt usage, lane lines, road features, as well as vehicle and pedestrian detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed and accurate annotation of images and videos for machine learning applications.
- Label multiple use cases including driver monitoring, seatbelt compliance, lane and road feature identification, and detecting vehicles and pedestrians.
- Maintain high standards of annotation accuracy and consistency.
- Adhere strictly to annotation guidelines and incorporate feedback to refine labels.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and validate annotated datasets regularly.
- Collaborate closely with AI and machine learning engineers to understand specific labeling needs.
- Ensure organized documentation of annotation processes and dataset details.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must be able to commit to a full-time, in-person internship located in Ahmedabad. The internship duration is six months, starting anytime from September 11, 2026, to October 16, 2026. Candidates should possess relevant computer skills and an interest in data annotation. Women aiming to launch or restart their career are especially encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
- A monthly stipend ranging from ₹10,500 to ₹16,000, inclusive of a fixed pay between ₹10,000 and ₹15,000 and incentives of ₹500 to ₹1,000.
- A certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation will be provided upon successful internship completion.
- Weekly work schedule of five days with a relaxed, informal dress code.
