As a content writing intern, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging, fun, and educational digital stories for kids. Your work will contribute to our mission to become the world's number one YouTube channel by reaching 10 billion monthly views by December 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive new and innovative ideas for children's entertainment and educational content.
- Transform initial concepts into captivating storylines, themes, and character developments.
- Draft original and age-appropriate scripts and dialogues tailored for children's videos.
- Craft compelling narratives with clear openings, engaging middle sections, and satisfying conclusions.
- Incorporate educational principles skillfully within entertaining stories and formats.
- Design vivid characters with unique personalities, motivations, and interactions.
- Conduct thorough research on relevant topics, educational subjects, and kids' interests to ensure accuracy and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with animators, designers, music producers, editors, and creative leads to bring stories to life.
- Continuously refine scripts based on feedback to maintain high quality, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to BabyBillion's standards.
- Contribute creative ideas for upcoming content series, recurring characters, and formats.
- Stay up to date with trends in children's content, storytelling, animation, and digital entertainment to ensure fresh and relevant output.
Candidate Requirements
- Availability for a full-time, in-office internship lasting three months starting between September 1 and October 6, 2026.
- Relevant skills and interests in creative writing, scripting, storytelling, and English proficiency.
- Preferred experience in writing scripts for YouTube, animation, children’s content, social media, or digital platforms.
- Experience creating stories, screenplays, skits, comics, or similar creative written content, including personal projects.
- Understanding of age-appropriate storytelling techniques and children’s language comprehension.
- Familiarity with educational and edutainment content formats.
- Proficiency using AI writing and research tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to assist brainstorming, researching, and refining creative ideas, while maintaining originality and human creativity.
- Having a portfolio showcasing scriptwriting, storytelling, or content creation work is strongly valued.
- This opportunity is open to freshers seeking entry into content creation roles.
Compensation and Additional Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging between ₹10,000 to ₹15,000.
- A certificate of completion upon internship conclusion.
- Candidacy for a permanent role post-internship with an expected salary between ₹500,000 and ₹600,000 annually, contingent on performance.
