The organization fosters authentic environments for individuals to express themselves and engage with mental well-being. Their offerings include therapeutic services, workshops, products, and events, all designed to emphasize the significance of self-care and address mental health concerns in urban communities.
Internship Overview & Responsibilities
The content creator intern will be responsible for producing short-form video content primarily for Instagram and other social media platforms, focusing on Reels and current trends. Key tasks involve conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing engaging videos related to psychology, mental health, relationships, workplace dynamics, and everyday human experiences. Through street interviews, vox pops, social experiments, and public reaction videos, the intern will capture authentic human interactions.
The intern must confidently engage with strangers in public settings, ensuring subjects feel at ease in front of the camera. On-screen presence is important, delivering ideas with enthusiasm, clarity, and distinct personality. Keeping abreast of evolving Instagram trends, popular video formats, sounds, hooks, editing methods, and new content styles is essential.
Using a phone or laptop, the intern will independently shoot and edit content while collaborating with the Academy team to transform educational topics into engaging, accessible, and shareable material. Content must be revised based on audience feedback, trending topics, and performance insights. Importantly, all mental health and psychology-related material should be handled thoughtfully and sensitively.
