About the Internship
Step into the role of shaping the public narrative of a fintech startup from early in your career. Lokta is a founder-led company creating a responsive loan servicing platform tailored for non-banking financial institutions, banks, and fintech lenders across India. The team includes creators of Apache Fineract, a lending core utilized globally. You'll be entrusted with telling Lokta's story daily through channels like LinkedIn, X, and the company blog.
This internship serves as a pathway to a permanent marketing position with Lokta. Successful interns will be offered full-time roles, making this a mutual opportunity for discovery and growth.
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage the Lokta LinkedIn company page and X account by strategizing content calendars, composing posts, publishing content, and engaging with audience comments.
- Convert each blog entry from lokta.ai/updates into diverse LinkedIn formats such as text posts, single-image posts, and document carousels utilizing the designated share-card design system.
- Execute daily engagement efforts by sourcing recent posts from relevant NBFCs, fintech companies, and lending leaders, drafting Lokta-voiced comments, and publishing them post-review.
- Monitor and report weekly performance metrics including reach, engagement, profile visits, and inbound messages in a consolidated sheet reviewed by the founders.
- Utilize AI writing tools to craft drafts, taking full editorial responsibility to ensure alignment with Lokta's brand voice learned during the initial week.
- Acquire in-depth understanding of the Indian lending landscape, including loan book management, collection importance, and concerns of NBFC risk officers, supported by company training.

- Interns must be full-time, on-site in Bangalore, and able to dedicate 6 months to the program starting between 15th September and 20th October 2026.
- Applicants should be current final-year students or graduates with relevant skills and interests; individuals earlier than third-year students are encouraged to apply next year.
- Fresh graduates seeking employment are welcome to apply.

- Familiarity and critical judgment in using AI writing assistance tools.
- Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and X as content platforms, including current effective formats, scheduling, and algorithm nuances.
