About the Internship
This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work on the development, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of Computer Vision and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) leveraging specialized image and video datasets. Interns will engage in comprehensive data handling, including preparation, annotation review, augmentation, benchmarking, and meticulous error analysis aimed at enhancing model accuracy and minimizing false positives and negatives.
Additional responsibilities involve optimizing AI models for GPU servers and edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson by performing model conversion, acceleration, memory management, and inference testing. The role requires ongoing validation through A/B testing, threshold adjustment, and retraining using newly gathered field data and challenging edge cases.
Interns will also manage training pipelines, document experiments and model versions, compile deployment guidelines, generate performance reports, and collaborate closely with data and field teams for continuous refinement of the models.

Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Computer Vision and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).
- Proficiency in deep learning model training and fine-tuning using Python-based AI frameworks.
- Knowledge of GPU acceleration, model optimization techniques, and deployment tools such as TensorRT/ONNX.
- Experience deploying AI models on edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson is advantageous.
- Familiarity with handling large-scale image/video datasets, model benchmarking, MLOps practices, and real-world AI project deployment preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranges from INR 20,000 to 30,000, composed of a fixed component (₹10,000 to ₹15,000) plus incentives (₹10,000 to ₹15,000).
