About the Internship

Join Osumare, a leading software development and digital marketing company based in Pune, as a full-time Cinematography intern for six months. This position offers practical exposure to all stages of visual content creation, including pre-production, filming, photography, editing, and post-production. Interns will work closely with the creative team and clients to generate impactful visual stories aligned with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret project scripts and requirements to plan shoot concepts including frames, lighting, and camera angles.
• Develop detailed shot lists, storyboards, and production schedules.
• Collaborate with creative teams and clients to finalize production flow.
• Capture high-quality video content for various formats such as brand films, corporate shoots, interviews, reels, and events using professional equipment.
• Operate and manage cameras, gimbals, lighting setups, and audio apparatus ensuring smooth cinematic captures and clear sound quality.
• Conduct diverse filming activities including indoor, outdoor, and drone footage where applicable.
• Photograph campaigns, products, events, and promotional materials with expertise in composition, color balance, and studio techniques.
• Edit and retouch photos preserving brand consistency.
• Handle end-to-end video editing using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, incorporating transitions, effects, color grading, and sound design.
• Add elements such as subtitles, voiceovers, B-roll footage, and background music while optimizing videos for platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Perform post-production tasks including color correction, cinematic grading, sound noise reduction, and syncing music.
• Export final videos in required formats and maintain organized backups and archives of footage and project files.

Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants must be ready for a full-time, in-office internship starting between September 4 and October 9, 2026, with a commitment of six months. Those with relevant skills and enthusiasm in cinematography are encouraged to apply; women reentering or starting their careers are especially welcomed.

Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency in handling professional cameras including DSLRs and mirrorless systems with various lenses.
• Advanced video editing capabilities using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong knowledge of lighting equipment such as softboxes, LED panels, and reflectors.
• Familiarity with audio tools including microphones, booms, and lapel mics.
• Excellent photography skills including framing, composition, and image retouching.
• Ability to create smooth cinematic shots with creative angles and transitions.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics software like After Effects is advantageous.
• Creative storytelling aptitude with a strong aesthetic sense.
• Understanding of brand communication and content marketing principles.
• Capability to independently visualize concepts and translate ideas into impactful visuals.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
