Business Development Intern (Sales)

About the Internship

This internship offers an opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of Idly and Dosa Batter servicing premium hotel chains and institutions in Chennai since 2016. The intern will be responsible for expanding the customer base, implementing creative sales strategies, and boosting sales within their designated area.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard 10 new customers daily, recording all data into the company's sales application.
• Develop and apply innovative sales techniques to promote the product effectively.
• Drive sales growth within the assigned territory.

Who Can Apply

• Individuals available for a part-time internship lasting 3 months.
• Applicants able to commence between September 26, 2026, and October 31, 2026.
• Those with relevant skills or interest in sales and marketing.
• Fresh graduates seeking job experience are welcome to apply.

Additional Requirements

• Possession of a two-wheeler, preferably a scooter or scooty, is mandatory to perform fieldwork.
• Will be tasked with selling FMCG products to retailers, supermarkets, and customers.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranges from ₹10,000 to ₹20,000, which includes a fixed component of ₹8,000-₹10,000 and an additional incentive-based pay of ₹2,000 to ₹10,000.
• Successful interns may receive a job offer with an annual salary between ₹350,000 and ₹400,000.
