Kweesha Solutions Pvt. Ltd., established in 2023 and based in Lucknow, India, is seeking Backend Web Development Interns to join their team working on live projects for U.S. clients. This role offers hands-on experience alongside seasoned developers and involves a unique night-shift schedule aligned with U.S. time zones. The internship combines four days of in-office work with one day remote work each week, facilitating a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain backend functionalities using JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js under the mentorship of experienced developers.
- Design, test, and document RESTful APIs supporting both web and mobile platforms including React and React Native frameworks.
- Construct and optimize MySQL database queries and structures to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
- Implement security features such as authentication, authorization, input validation, and error handling to enhance application reliability.
- Identify and fix backend bugs, troubleshoot API and integration issues, and ensure solutions are peer-reviewed before final submission.
- Work collaboratively with frontend and mobile teams to integrate backend services with application interfaces in alignment with project goals.
- Utilize Git for version control, participate in code review processes, and produce clean, well-documented code.
- Assist in supervised testing and deployment activities while maintaining clear communication in English regarding progress and challenges during U.S.-aligned night shifts.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be available for a full-time, in-office internship starting anytime between October 8, 2026, and November 12, 2026, lasting 6 months.
- Applicants should reside in or be willing to relocate to Lucknow to attend the office four days weekly, with one day remote.
- Comfortable working night shifts aligned with U.S. time zones: 6:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m. IST during daylight saving, and 7:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m. IST otherwise.
- Require robust English communication skills capable of comprehending project specifications and articulating technical information effectively.
- Must have reliable internet and a conducive home workspace for remote working days.
- Professional attributes including punctuality, deadline adherence, responsiveness to feedback, and proactive communication are essential.
